Nick Belair is a litigation associate based in our San Francisco office.
Nick focuses his practice primarily on patent litigation. He has litigated matters involving a wide range of technology areas and products, from non-invasive patient monitoring devices to dual-band cellular signal boosters. In recent years, Nick has gained considerable experience representing clients in post-grant proceedings before the USPTO, including drafting and responding to petitions for inter partes review (IPR) and post-grant review (PGR). Nick also has experience litigating trademark, trade dress, trade secret, breach of contract and other business tort cases, and he maintains an active pro bono practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Nick graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology Law. Before attending law school, Nick worked as an R&D Engineer and Quality Engineer at EV3 Neurovascular, where he helped design and develop microcatheter-based devices.
