Partners Susan Natland and Gregory Phillips will be panelists at the Chapman University School of Law 2015 Entertainment & Sports Law Symposium on Friday, February 6, 2015. The topic is "Slurs, Student-Athletes and Tattoos: Key Intellectual Property Battles in Sports and Their Implications." The panel will discuss the recent cancellation of the "Redskins" trademark, the scope of protection for tattoos, and student athlete publicity rights in video games.

The Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law Entertainment and Sports Law Society hosts an annual symposium focusing on the field of sports and entertainment law. The symposium covers substantive areas of law such as intellectual property, contract law, labor law, anti-trust law, and corporate finance.
