Mr. Carson’s practice involves representing clients in the acquisition, protection and exploitation of IP rights, and particularly, patent portfolio management that maximizes value in complex IP environments including concurrent litigation and administration proceedings in the USPTO. His client base is multifaceted and includes clients in the nanotechnology/microelectronics, telecommunications, healthcare and signal processing software, video and image processing, mobile phone synchronization and security software, flat panel display, Li-ion battery, fuel cell and semiconductor industries.

Mr. Hamilton focuses on protection of intellectual property and the creation of intellectual property strategies in the electronics, computer, communication, software and IT industries. He has assisted numerous clients, including startups and established corporations, in developing and carrying out successful strategies for protecting and exploiting their intellectual property rights.

Mr. Israelsen’s major areas of practice include advising startup companies and established businesses in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical areas, including worldwide patent protection strategies; avoidance of third party intellectual property; portfolio building; due diligence; intellectual property opinions; and licensing. His clients include venture-financed startup companies; newly-public companies; major biopharmaceutical companies; not-for-profit institutions and educational institutions; and governmental research organizations.
