Knobbe Martens to host IP Impact – Silicon Valley Seminar on Important Developments in Intellectual Property

Important Developments in Intellectual Property is the topic for an IP Impact Seminar presented by Knobbe Martens, one of the country’s largest intellectual property (IP) law firms. This seminar will take place in Palo Alto, California, on Thursday, September 26, from 11:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., at the Sheraton – Palo Alto.

The event will include a keynote presentation by Michelle Lee, formerly Deputy General Counsel at Google, who has been selected to direct the USPTO’s new Silicon Valley office. Director Lee will give an update on the plans for the 150-examiner Silicon Valley office. In addition, Knobbe Martens attorneys will hold a panel presentation to discuss “Important Developments in Intellectual Property and How They Impact Your Business,” and a breakout session where attendees can pick from one of the following presentations: “Examination of Recent Medical Device Patent Litigation and Lessons to be Learned” or “Can I Still Get a Patent on That? Best Practices for Protecting Innovations in the Software, High Technology and Biotech Industries.” The day will end with an informal networking cocktail reception with Knobbe Martens attorneys.
