Knobbe Martens Again Ranked in Top Ten Nationally for Quality Patents

Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP has once again been ranked among the top 10 firms in the nation in the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Magazine/Ocean Tomo PatentRatings® survey of law firms that prepare and prosecute the highest quality U.S. patents for their clients.

The 2015 rankings focus on four areas – industrials, consumer electronics, healthcare and information technology – and also include an overall ranking encompassing all technology areas. Knobbe Martens was ranked among the top 10 in every area. Firms’ positions on the list were determined by reviewing both the number of patents issued within the past 12 months as well as the quality and worth of those patents.

This marks the sixth year IAM Magazine has commissioned research for the survey through the Ocean Tomo PatentRatings® System, which uses highly acclaimed methods to determine the relative value of all patents issued by the USPTO since 1976. These patent qualities are calculated using more than 50 independent and objective factors.
