Knobbe Martens Hosts “Women in IP” Dinner in Orange County
On May 21, 2015, Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, hosted a Women in IP Networking Dinner in Orange County. Sponsored by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), Knobbe Martens’ dinner was one of 67 complimentary events held on this date around the world. More than 50 women IP attorneys and executives gathered in Knobbe Martens’ office to share their experiences and insights.
Themed She Believed She Could, So She Did, the Orange County Women in IP dinner featured guest speaker Kate Duchene, Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Resources Global Professionals and Human Options Board Member. Ms. Duchene discussed the importance of having women in leadership roles in law firms and corporations. Attendees included in-house counsel and executives from ASICS America Corporation, Nobel Biocare, Arbonne, Experian Information Solutions, Sun Chemical Corporation, Resources Global Professionals, Fox Head, St. John’s Knits, Sunrider International, Raj Manufacturing, Invoy Technologies, Stance, Allergan, University of California, Irvine, AcuFocus, and ITT Cannon. Attorneys from eight other law firms attended as well.
