The “Leaders in Law” awards are presented annually to outstanding legal professionals in the San Diego county law community.

In its profile of Ms. Dai, the SDBJ describes her as “a leading patent attorney” who is “a trusted adviser to both emerging and established life sciences companies”. The SDBJ notes that Ms. Dai “utilizes her doctorate in organic chemistry to advise both emerging and established companies in the life sciences space, with a particular focus on small molecule pharmaceuticals.”

Among her recent honors, Ms. Dai was ranked among the top 15 “Best Performing Attorneys in Biotech” in Patexia's Patent Intelligence 2023 Report, named a “Leading Litigator” for IP litigation in the most recent edition of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Litigators in America” guide, and was named to the most recent Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch guide.

Mr. Luman’s practice is focused on representing leading chemical and pharmaceutical companies in IP litigation matters. The SDBJ notes that Mr. Luman has “achieved groundbreaking results in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and for pharmaceutical companies delivering life-saving treatments”. The publication also noted that he is a past president and member of the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association.

Mr. Luman was recently honored in Patexia's 2023 PTAB Intelligence Report as a “Top Performer,” and has also previously been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch guide.
